Are cell phones hurting us more than they're helping us?

what I want to know about the dangers of cell phones
I hope to learn more about the exact science behind the way cell phones affect us. They affect us in physical and social ways, both of which aren't exactly common knowledge. Most people wouldn't be able to tell you the exact reason why the cell phones give off their radiation. Similarly, even fewer people can tell you why the way we use cell phones makes us lose our social skills. A specialist can most likely provide information on both topics, but I do no personally know any radiologists. As a result, I must use written documents and research as my primary resources. I may be able to contact an expert and ask him questions via email, or a medical website could give me certain information on the health hazards of the amount of radiation given off by the more common cell phones.

What I already know about the dangers of cell phones
Cell phones are very rarely used for their primary purpose, that is, as a telephone. A majority of people who use cell phones are using them primarily for texting. Now, telephone calls have some amount of interaction involved, so not all experience is lost. However, when people text, which involves little to no effort whatsoever, they are helping to weaken their social skills. By using text as a medium of communication, a person sacrifices their verbal communication skills, which can lead to plenty of bad consequences upon the return of verbal contact. A person could have gotten used to the informal manner of texting, and might come off as rude, or curt, or overly casual in a scenario where that can make a big difference. Also, it would be very easy for a person who had misplaced their cell phone have their phone be found by a stranger, who might then begin to text random people, posing as your friend, and are trying to sneak their way into your lives. The scariest part is that you might never realize it because it's a lot easier to determine a voice than a way of texting. Also, all messages are saved to your phone unless you actively go into your messages and delete each individual text, making it easy for people to see what you are saying to your friends. However, a vocal conversation cannot be recored, unless under very rare circumstances. So do you know who you're talking to?
The story behind our cell phones' dangers.
Telephones have come a long way in society, and I will admit that they play a major role in daily life. However, Cell phones have been the source of many problems and issues in society. One example of many would be that most, if not all phones release radiation as a result of its ‘signal,’ cell phone service towers also release a more copious level of radiation, but both are extremely dangerous if you are constantly around them and using them. Since our generation is the first to use these more radioactive phones for an extended period of time, we have no existing example to rule by to see the results of this amount of radiation. The EPA has stated that cell phones must have a maximum of 1.65 watts per kilogram in cell phones to avoid noticeable cell damage, and there are phones today that push that level at rates of around 1.63, an example of which is the Motorola v195. see Cell phones and radiation and hopefully yours isn't on the list!
